Galveston Chamber Volunteer of the Year

Mills Shirley Managing Partner Fred Raschke was named 2013 Volunteer of the Year at the Galveston Chamber of Commerce’s Lemonade Day Spirit Night dinner held May 9, 2013. Lemonade Day is a national program that is usually held on the first Sunday in May. This is Galveston’s second year to sponsor an event — over 700 young entrepreneurs set up more than 200 Lemonade Day stands all over the island. The event is sponsored by the Chamber’s Education Committee, which Fred has chaired for the last two years.
