Robert is a member of the firm's Litigation section, providing representation in complex civil litigation. His areas of emphasis include commercial litigation, construction disputes, personal injury, professional liability litigation, landlord-tenant, property taxes and premises liability.
He joined Mills Shirley in 2003 after graduating from the University of Texas School of Law where Robert was Chair of the Texas Union Board of Directors and an editor for the Texas Review of Law & Politics. He continues an active trial practice focusing on construction litigation, as well as major commercial disputes.

- Defending companies from personal injury actions arising out of alleged toxic exposure.

- Employment law including separation agreements, covenants not to compete, employment handbook policies, misappropriation of trade secrets, wrongful termination
- Representing businesses in debt collection litigation.
