Christopher S. Cahill Galveston, Texas
Chris leads the firm's General Business and Commercial Practice section and maintains a flexible practice focused on business organizations, non-profit organizations, commercial law, contracts, real estate, estate planning and probate. Certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in Estate Planning and Probate Law since 1995, he represents clients ranging from individuals and family businesses to corporations and government entities. Clients include large charitable foundations, shipyards, real estate developers, chemical companies, the state mental health/mental retardation authority for Galveston and Brazoria Counties, a state drainage authority, executors and trustees. He also handles business, probate and trust litigation on a select basis. Joining the firm in 1988, Chris became a partner in 1994. He is active in the community and serves as a member of the Board of Visitors for Texas A&M Galveston. He is past President of The Boys & Girls Club of Galveston County and has served various leadership roles in the Bay Area Council Boy Scouts of America.
